Last Pulse this Year:-)

Time for SIN’s Christmas Pulse:-)
If you are one of us who is staying in Oslo for Christmas and still don’t know what to do, I managed to find some ideas for you:-)
1. If you are not up to sitting at home on Christmas Eve and you are also one of those who want to make a difference, there is a possibility to participate in an event called “Alternative Christmas”. You can volunteer for helping those who don’t have a possibility for normal Christmas celebration (the drug users, alcoholics, homeless or just the ones who don’t have anyone to celebrate Christmas with). All the info is available at http://www.alternativjul.no/index.html. There you’ll find the timetable for shifts as well as how you can apply for being a volunteer. It’s going to take place at : Oslo Kongressenter in Folkets Hus at Youngstorget
2. While you are impatient and really looking forward to Christmas there is an International knitting exhibition. Well, it can also give you some inspiration on what to do on Christmas Eve. The exhibition presents an exciting meeting with a new, strong field of art. It deals with roles, expectations, traditions, breaches and provocations. Artists and craftsmen from Australia, Canada, Denmark, England, Finland, Japan, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, Germany and USA show the diversity in knitting as an artistic language today. It’s at KunstindustrimuseetAddress: St. Olavs gate 1
Free of charge
3.The closing event for today’s Christmas Pulse is Frank Znort Lille Julaften. It’s a concert of Frank Znort Quartet at Blå, 21.00 on Sunday 23 of December.
Free of charge.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
Stay tuned for Snakker ikke Norsk next semester:-)
