Pulse 02.10.2007

Time for you to get updated in the cultural life of Oslo.
1. The first event for today is not free of charge, but I decided to have it anyway. It’s almost a must for those of you who are interested in seeing the world from a different angle.
It’s a movie festival “Films from the South” from the 4th till the 11th of October- the biggest movie festival in the North-Europe with focus on Asia, Africa and Latin America.
More info about the tickets, movies and places you find under www.filmfrasor.no

The rest of the Pulse for today is free of charge and it has something to do with Russia. It just a pure coincidence and not my identity speakingJ

2. Anyhow the first to come is a movie at Moloch filmclub.
The movie is called “Solaris” from (1972) and takes you on a trip to a mystery planet. The movie is black and white with the English subtitles.
Address for the Moloch is Gøteborggata 32
And it’s on Thursday 4th of October at 20.00
Free of charge

3. The next event his about the freedom of speech and Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya. It’s an exhibition with the focus on what she was working for at Nobel Peace Center on Sunday the 7th of October at 15.00 o’clock.
Free of charge.

4. The last event is a concert of a Swedish singer Dan Fagerquist and you may have a question about it’s connection to Russia, but in this concert Dan Fagerquist is singing songs of a legendary Russian singer Vladimir Vysotskiy, translated to Swedish.
The concert is at Chateau Neuf’s bokcafeen on Monday the 8th of October at 21.00
Free of Charge.
Hope you’re going to take a look inside Russian culture this week.
