Pulse, 15.05.07

Hi, my name is Nadiya and it’s time for our traditional Pulse:


happennings in Oslo that can be interesting for the international students. Today’s Pulse is dedicated to the 17th of May, Norwegian national day. So if you don’t know what to do the day after tomorrow except going to the parade you may be interested in one of the following options:

1.a) Outdoor 17th of May celebration at Blå. On the 17th of May Blå offers you outdoor serving, barbecue, Djs and Club.

From 13.00 till 23.00 Brenneriveien 9c

b) The second option is the traditional outdoor concert with student choir on the stairs of the old University building’14.00 Universitetsplassen Karl Johans gate 47 Domus Media

c) You may as well like to take part in the event “17th of May for all-anti-racist celebration” with outdoor concerts, stands and entertainment in the Kuba park by the river Akerselva. The idea behind is to show that the national day is a celebration for everyone living in Norway.
The festival has always had free access for everyone. The audience record is about 15 000 people, most of whom sitting on the grass, relaxing, barbecuing and listening to great music.

d)and the last one for the 17th of Mai is FAMILY REGGAE DISCO!
17th of Mai special with African bands and Reggae DJS. Oslo’s most multicultural celebration of the national day.

2. But our Pulse is not only about the national day today.There is one more event which is worth checking out this week:

Spring in the old town at Grønland

Fun fair, entertainment, market stalls etc.
Thousands of people have attended this event the last years, so don’t miss your chance this year.
