Pirate Party

When you feel like a pirate, but think that the Somalian coastal waters are getting too dangerous there is student pub Amatøren for you: On Saturday a pirate party is happening with everything you need: A DJ all night long, a treasure hunt, costume competition and the best thing: It is open until 3. Amatøren is located in Sogn, the entrance is free and the party starts at 8.

Art and Technology

If you are interested in art and new technology, the Deichmanske library has something for you: On Friday at 1 o'clock a few of the new media stations will be presented. What is this all about?
An exhibition will show the first test installation of the media stations with all technology installed. This includes a computer with touch screen, sound system and illumination system guided by a infrared sensor.This has been a collaborative project of the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, the HfG Offenbach and the OCEAN research and design network. The entrance is free and you will find the exhibition in the gallery of the Oslo School of Architecture and Design in Maridalsveien 29.

Christmas Market

Christmas is coming and this means it is about time for the yearly Christmas market in Oslo. From Thursday onwards, on the City Hall Square by the harbour you will find an exciting and cosy Christmas Market - with food and drink, presents, Christmas delicacies, Christmas decorations and arts and crafts. The entrance is free and maybe you will meet Santa there.
